Sleek and stylish ruled the runway at Komen's 5th annual Project Pink Fashion Show. Dr. Cacioppo declared everyone a winner in Komen's efforts to raise breast cancer awareness.

Breast Reconstruction

Dr. Cacioppo has lectured on breast reconstruction all over Indiana in cities and towns such as Indianapolis, French Lick, Fort Wayne and Vincennes. He has also presented his work in distant lands such as Mexico City and Seoul, South Korea.
State Of The Art Technique
Drs. Cacioppo and Cohen have instituted the team approach to breast cancer reconstruction in Indianapolis. They were the first to successfully introduce the DIEP flap and other forms of microsurgical breast reconstruction to the Indiana University School Of Medicine. Their effort has brought satisfaction and relief to hundreds of Indiana breast cancer survivors.
The two will soon teach their technique to fellow plastic surgeons as course instructors at the annual meeting of plastic surgery in Chicago where surgeons from all over the country will gather to learn and discuss new treatments.
